Students Build Video Production Skills in Farley Elementary Media Club

What does it take to produce a weekly newscast? In James A. Farley Elementary School’s Media Club, students are finding out firsthand. Working with club advisor Shannon Perez, students are building hands-on skills in camera work, recording, video editing and using Canva to create graphics that bring their projects to life. During our recent visit, students were busy reporting on an upcoming field trip while also editing blooper reels and designing backgrounds to use with their green screen setup. How cool is that?
